This course provides an opportunity to learn the leading image editing software Adobe Photoshop. Students will learn to use tools, menus, filters, painting, and color modification. They will discover how to effectively use masking and advanced layering techniques to further manipulate images. They will develop skills for creating, effects, manipulating and mixing images for such purposes as, digital portfolios, web pages or digital art works. Projects include: image montages, posters, surrealist images, self-portraits, web banners, Photoshop effects, photo-realistic art and much more. Full color printers and digital cameras are supplied in this state-of-the-art Mac Media Lab.
