DDP provides students with opportunities to apply creative thinking, decision-making and problem solving skills to develop solutions to design problems. It utilizes powerful 

computer hardware and software (AutoDesk Inventor) to develop 3D models or 

solid renderings of objects. This computer-based process replaces traditional board drawing methods while incorporating all of the concepts and skills of previous courses, including hand sketching. Student will learn the product design process and how a model of that product is created, analyzed, rendered and produced. Various applications of the product design process will be discussed along with possible career opportunities. 

This course meets the graduation requirement for one unit ofart/music.
