This course introduces students to all aspects of Digital Photography and in in-depth look at Photoshop. Topics include: how to use a digital camera, scanning, proper resolution for printing, printing methods, retouching and image manipulation. Students learn how to utilize photo filters, match colors in photos, simulate lens effects, replace colors, and apply adjustment layers and more! Full color printers and digital cameras are supplied in this state-of-the-art Mac Media Lab. Students utilize various software that includes; Adobe Photoshop, iPhoto and Aperture. There is a strong emphasize on Photoshop as it is the Digital Darkroom.
